For me, a minor 6 chord is making a minor chord sadder if used in the 4th chord on a major scale.

Why does approaching flat VII from those four chords avoid harmonic ambiguity?

Is there a reason you limit progressions to three chords?

This chord sounds like utter sht because it's the root chord of a key combined with the dom 7 of that same key. ugh. Just horrid, imo. At least with no context it is.

Came here after trying to analyse Loomer by My Bloody Valentine, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the opening part is a I chord to a bIII chord giving it an eery happy vibe. Great video!
